Louisiana has
a wide range of habitats and a wide range of beetles that live in them. These
include one of the two US Hercules beetles and three of the four large US
Stag beetles (genus: Lucanus). There is so much to cover
on this page but for now I wanted to post some photos of a few of my favorite
natives.
